⭐ Trauma 2022 Committee Applications are now open! ⭐

🌍 The applications form can be found in our bio. Roles available:

💬 Personnel Officers

Responsible for liaising with academics/doctors and recruiting them as speakers and demonstrators, as well as organising orders of equipment for “dry” and “wet” workshops. You would be the point of contact for delegates, speakers and demonstrators during the conference, to make sure that they are well informed and looked after. You will be responsible for organising the conference’s social event on the Saturday of this conference. An ideal candidate would be reliable, hardworking, have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

💰Sponsorship Officers

Responsible for gathering funding for the event and working in partnership with Surgical Society’s Treasurer. You will be contacting organisations to ask for financial support and equipment donation or loan. This will require exhausting all possible avenues by looking at other conference and society sponsors and researching and contacting new organisations. An ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, able to be persuasive and tenacious while remaining highly professional. Prior experience would be preferable.

📣 Promotions Officers

Responsible for branding the event and promoting it on a local, national, and international scale. This will involve promoting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and by email, as well as managing the website and responding to any questions from delegates. You will be in charge of creating a promotion timeline for the event and adding regular content to social media. An ideal candidate would be well organised and creative, have marketing expertise and experience with graphic design, website maintenance and video software.

🔬Research Officers

Responsible for gathering data during the conference, effectively coordinating the conference's research activities and collaborating with external partners. You will work in partnership with Surgical Society's Research Representative. An ideal candidate would be hardworking, meticulous and have previously conducted research projects.
